		<description>It&#039;s a tough call. You&#039;re right... whether we&#039;re consuming meat or vegetables, we&#039;re making an impact on everything around us. It&#039;s really unavoidable.

Growing as much of your own food as possible is an excellent choice, if you have the resources to do that (and it sounds like you do). It not ony reduces your impact on the environment, but it&#039;s better for you, too. 

I&#039;d never tell someone not to eat meat... but the fact that the question is on your mind makes me wonder if maybe you already have the answer.

My best to you and your family, whatever you decide.
